Beverley has a Master’s degree (MSc) in Leadership and Management in Education, a level 7 Certificate in Strategic Leadership and Management (CMI) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Research (Business). She is a qualified lecturer in Higher Education, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a Fellow of the Strategic Planning Society and has been accepted as a Fellow of both the Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Leadership and Management. She spent around 16 years working on the commercial side of international media, has run her own consultancy business and also spent several years working in local government. Having experienced many organisational changes herself in both the private and public sectors, she has a particular interest in change management and is currently reading for a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) where the focus of her research is upon change management and resistance to change.
Beverley is a Principal Lecturer and the Strategic Management, Enterprise and Change Subject Group Leader. She teaches on a range of Strategic Management, Change Management, Human Resource Management / Organisational Behaviour and Research Methods modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has an interest in Mindfulness both personally and professionally and seeks to raise awareness of it amongst students and other professionals.
